Welcome!

Greetings and welcome to the Greater Cleveland Beekeepers Association!
 
Whether you're long-time beekeeper, interested in becoming a new beekeeper, or just curious about bees, we hope you will find this website useful!

Each month we meet at the Rocky River Nature Center.   These education sessions and association meetings (listed below) occur on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Please join with us as we discuss the care and raising of bees and current Apiculture Management Techniques.

Beginning Beekeeping Classes - Learn all you need to know about becoming a beekeeper.  Series of 4 classes, on Wednesday (2/1, 2/8, 2/15 & 2/22) 2012 starting at 7pm.

Note:  The cost for the Beginning Beekeeping Classes is $45 which includes membership into GCBA.  Educational material "Beekeeping for Dummies" may be purchased during the classes for an additional cost.

6:30PM package bee dump demonstration. 
7:00PM Bill T. Mondack will speak on  Pesticides that Affect Suburban Beekeeping and Good Alternatives.  Bill lives near Wellington, Ohio on a small mixed crop and fruit farm and has been a beekeeper since 1996.  Bill is also a Certified Pesticide Applicator and a member of the Lorain County Beekeepers Association.
